Palmer seniors Reed Craner and Jacob Rockey led Palmer to a 7-3 prep baseball win over rival Palmer Monday evening in Palmer.
Craner and Rockey combined for three hits, three runs and three RBI at the plate.
Craner also worked a complete game on the mound, scattering seven hits over seven innings and fanning five.
Timothy Bridgeman used a sacrifice fly in the third to break a 2-2 tie and give the Moose a 3-2 lead. Palmer added a pair of runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.
Cody Otto, Jackson Sommer and Landon Sherrer drove in runs for Colony.
Last weekend, Palmer finished 1-1-1 during a three-game trip to Fairbanks. Palmer beat North Pole 7-5, tied West Valley 12-12 and suffered a 2-0 loss to Monroe Catholic.
Wasilla scored a 15-3 over Colony on May 16. Brice Kennedy drove in five to lead the Warriors to the win. Chase Sivulich had four hits, three runs and two RBI. Robby Guzman scored three times.
The Knights had won six straight before the loss to Wasilla, which snapped a four-game losing streak.
