The Palmer Moose celebrated their senior night with a win in overtime.
Kinan Greco scored with 6 minutes and 52 seconds left in the extra period to give the Moose a 3-2 overtime win over Soldotna Thursday at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.
Matias Broughton, one of seven seniors honored Thursday, scored a pair of goals in the win. The forward tied the score at 1-1 with 1:08 left in the second, and forced a 2-2 with 1 minute left in regulation.
Bryce Armstrong and Elijah Von Gunten bagged two assists each in the win.
Senior Brody Joseph stopped 22 shots in the Palmer goal. The Moose out-shot SoHi 33-30.
Zeek Miller and Jace Applehans scored for the Stars.
Wasilla scored a 6-3 win over Kenai Thursday night at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla.
The Warriors scored three times on the power play. Owen Hoyt, Branson Starheim, Dalton Hickey, Mason Varner and Easton McCree scored goals for the Warriors.
