PALMER — The Lions’ roar was reduced to a mere whimper as Palmer pummeled Anchorage Christian School during a wrestling dual at Palmer High School Tuesday.
The Moose used four pins and won four straight matches via the forfeit en route to a 57-15 win over the Lions.
Levi Farris (145 pounds), Christian Kurka (160), Sidney Watchus (126) and Wyatt McGann (138) each won their match by fall.
Palmer is in the Interior this weekend for a series of duals at Lathrop High School. Colony, Wasilla and Houston are in Soldotna for the North/South Invitational at Soldotna High School.
Wasilla will host the Northern Lights Conference Championships Dec. 11-12 at WHS. Houston will travel to Homer for the Kachemak Conference Championships Dec. 11-12.
