ANCHORAGE — Taylor Blake scored a game-high 28 points to lead the Palmer Moose to a 75-66 girls basketball win over the East Anchorage Thunderbirds in Anchorage on Monday.
Blake hit five of her 10 shots from the floor in the first quarter, tallying 13 of Palmer’s 23 during the first eight minutes. She was also 6 of 9 from the free-throw line in the second half.
Kasara Brandenburg added 21 points in the victory. Caitlin Scott scored 12.
