PALMER — The Palmer Moose capped their regular season with a big win over a rival Monday night at Hermon Brothers Field.
Sparked by a 10-hit effort, Palmer scored a 13-2 win over Colony.
Keegan Larson finished 3 for 3, and knocked in six runs for the Moose. Larson finished with two doubles and a triple in the victory. Adam Christiansen was 3 for 4 in the game, with three runs scored.
Wyatt McKechnie also scored three runs for Palmer.
Three different pitchers combined to hold Colony to only four hits and two runs. Logan Sanders recorded the lone RBI for the Knights.
Valley teams now look ahead to the Southcentral Conference tournament, which is hosted by Soldotna this year. The bracket is expected to be released Wednesday.
