PALMER — The Palmer Moose picked up a big Northern Lights Conference sweep, beating Kodiak on back-to-back nights at Palmer High School.
Saturday, Connor Looney scored a game-high 26 points to help the Moose secure the sweep with a 56-39 victory. Looney scored eight of his team’s 16 points during a 16-2 first-quarter run.
Friday, Looney collected 12 of his game-best 26 during an extra period to help the Moose outlast Kodiak 58-50 in overtime.
Brian Selmer added 19 points Friday.
