PALMER — Palmer goaltender Cody Grogan used a 23-save shutout to lead the Moose to a 2-0 nonconference win over East Anchorage Tuesday at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.
Grogan’s night included 11 saves in the second period.
Chris Dojka and Bowen Webb each found the back of the net for the Moose. Webb factored in on both Palmer goals. Webb helped set up Dojka’s goal at the 10:10 mark of the first period, and added a goal of his own early in the second.
Noah Richards and Noah Keil also recorded assists for Palmer.

Dimond 3, Colony 1
ANCHORAGE — Dimond killed a late Colony rally, and held on for a 3-1 nonconference victory over the Knights Tuesday at Ben Boeke Arena in Anchorage.
Dimond held a 2-0 lead when Colony forward Cooper Smith used a power-play goal to cut the Lynx lead in half in the third period. The Knights peppered Dimond goalie Chris Gardeline with 10 shots in the third, but Peter Egrass used a late goal to help ice the game for Dimond.
Egrass led Dimond with a pair of goals in the game.
Alexander Gamez made 33 saves in the Colony net.
Eagle River 6, Wasilla 3
WASILLA — Braden Brunnhoelzl netted a hat trick Tuesday. But Eagle River spoiled the Wasilla forward’s night, with a 6-3 victory over the Warriors.
Two of Brunnhoelzl’s goals were unassisted, and one came on the power play. Austin Stephens and Garrett Conroy also recorded assists for Wasilla.
Wasilla goalie Zach Curry finished with 21 saves for the Warriors.
