The Palmer Moose scored a big win over one of their biggest rivals Tuesday night.
Palmer used a pair of late goals and Keagon O’Bryan’s 41-save performance to earn a 2-0 win Wasilla Tuesday night at the Brett Memorial Ice Arena in Wasilla.
The Moose bagged both goals during the final three minutes of regulation, Clayton Conrad found the back of the net with 2:57 left. Kellan Payne added an empty-netter during the final seconds.
Tavian Mukaabya had an assist on the first goal.
O’Bryan’s night included 17 saves in the third period. He also stopped 13 shots in the first and 11 in the second.
Wasilla goalie Brodey Davis made 38 saves.
