HOUSTON — Five players scored as Palmer scored a 5-2 win over Houston at the Big Lake Rec Center on Tuesday.
Valery Dietz, Christopher Dojka, Taylor Foster, Jarrett Johns and Josh Myers all found the back of the net for PHS. Freshman Cody Grogan stopped 39 shots for the Moose.
Kards fly past Moose
KENAI — Sparked by Jake Eubank’s seven-point night, Kenai rolled to a 10-3 win over Palmer at the MTA Events Center Thursday night.
Eubank bagged three goals and four assists in the victory, and helped the Kards blow open what was once a tight game.
The North Star Conference rivals were knotted at 2-2 after the end of the first, but outscored the Moose 6-1 in the second period. The Kards tagged on a pair of goals in the third.
Aiden LaFrance and Noah Richards recorded goals during the first period for the Moose. Matthew Bemeneck added a goal in the second period.
Palmer freshman goalie Cody Grogan recorded 29 saves in the loss.
