PALMER — The Palmer Moose used a pair of quick scores to earn a 4-2 Railbelt Conference win over Houston Tuesday at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.
Owen Hayes and Jeremy Horecek each scored within an 18-second span early in the first period. Zach Nelius added goals in both the second and third periods.
Isaiah Squires and Kinley scored for Houston.
Palmer’s TJ O’Rourke finished with 20 saves in the win. Houston’s Josh Smoldon stopped 17 shots.
