The Palmer Moose split a pair of home matches with Northern Lights Conference rival Soldotna over the weekend.
After a loss to the Stars Friday, the Moose bounced back with a 3-2 (25-16, 25-20, 24-26, 14-25, 15-8) victory Saturday afternoon. Jasmine Hephner led Palmer with nine kills. Sophie Reid added eight. Laekyn Leroux had a team-best 27 digs for Palmer. Audrey Cahill added 14 digs.
Soldotna scored the 3-2 (25-16, 25-16, 18-25, 22-25, 15-13) win on Friday. Leila Petersen had seven kills and two blocks for Palmer. Cahill led the team with 25 digs. Leroux added 24 and Samantha Thomas chipped in 20.
Wasilla swept NLC foe Kodiak in a pair of matches at Wasilla High.
The Warriors beat Kodiak 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 25-18) on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday.
Rose Gutierrez had seven kills and Marissa Monroe finished with a dozen kills Friday. Ki Schachle added 10 kills.
