The Palmer Moose scored a pair of prep soccer wins over Redington Tuesday at Redington.
Liv Solis scored a pair of goals during a 4-1 win over the Redington girls. The Moose scored four unanswered goals to win their first official match of the season. Solis scored her first goal in the first half to tie the score at 1. The senior also converted a penalty kick in the second half. Avery Hill and Anavarin Sipple also scored. Caroline Deal and Haylee Shae split time in the Moose net.
The Palmer boys improved to 2-0 with a 10-0 win over the Huskies. David Beames, Gavin Tosche, Porter Johnson and Noah Giossi scored two goals each. Cody Godfrey also scored. Michael Larsen converted a penalty kick. Larsen also recorded the shutout in the Palmer net.
The Wasilla girls scored a 2-0 win over rival Colony on Tuesday. Senior captain Kiara Shane scored both Warrior goals. Livia Breshears and Kendall Harbour finished with an assist each. Ella Hale recorded her third shutout of the year for the 3-0-1 Warriors.
Wasilla also beat Bartlett 5-0 Monday. Alia Shane led the Warriors with two goals. Victoria Schachle and Holly Marsh had a goal and assist each. Kiara Shane also scored. Violet Schachle added an assist.
Wasilla tied Service 1-1 on Wednesday. Kiara Shane scored the Wasilla goal.
