Moose sweep track and field dual at Kodiak

PALMER — The Palmer Moose swept a track and field dual in Kodiak.

Senior Lev Robertson recorded a pair of wins to lead the Palmer boys to a 42-31 win over the Bears. Robertson finished first in both the 800-meters and the 3,200. Matt Daniels scored a first-place finish in the 110 hurdles.

Three different Palmer runners finished first in the girls’ dual. Junior Teeana Nicholai recorded a personal best time of 27.83 seconds in the 200. Sophie Wright also notched a personal recorded, finishing with a time of 2:37.01 in the 800. Sophia Nowers finished first in the 3,200 with a mark of 12:55.25.

Palmer also swept the boys’ and girls’ 400 and 1,600 relay events.
