The Palmer Moose basketball squads took home a pair of bronze trophies after competing in tournaments on the Kenai Peninsula last week.
The Palmer boys' earned third place of the SoHi Tip-Off at Soldotna High School with a 58-43 win over the Nikiski Bulldogs.
Brandon Gaines scored a game-high 12 points for the Moose. Juniors Charlie Bentti and Stanley Ratcliff each added 10 points.
Palmer improved to 7-3 with the win.
The Palmer girls placed third in the Skyview Invitational with a 38-32 win over the Kenai Kardinals.
Keisha Hooker led the Moose with 12 points from the floor. Emily Bolling added eight points.
