PALMER -- The Palmer boys ran away with the team title of the 2003 Borough Championships track and field meet at Palmer High School this week.
The Moose garnered 158 points to win the title. Colony finished second with 132.
Senior sprinter Dustin Eley helped lead the Moose to the title with a pair of individual wins.
Eley won the 100-meter with a time of 11.67 seconds, just missing his season best of 11.61. Eley also won the 200-meter with a time of 23.47.
Eley was named the boys' most outstanding runner of the meet.
The Moose won a pair of relay events. Palmer won the 3,200-meter relay in a time of 8-minutes and 57-seconds and the 1,600 meter relay in 3:42.99.
The Moose also had individual wins in the discus (Nick Pilch), long jump (Mike Weber), 1,600-meter (Aaron Dickson) and 400-meter (Olen Bingham).
Danielle McBride led Colony with a pair of individual titles.
McBride won both the high jump with a jump of 5-foot 8-inches and the long jump with a leap of just over 38 feet.
Individual winners for the Knights included Peter Doner (3,200-meter), Ross Wise (800-meter), Landon Swank (300-meter hurdles) and Justin Schwartzbauer (110-meter high hurdles).
Wasilla's Tyler Tillery edged Palmer's Junior Aumavae in the shot put to lead the Warrior boys.
