WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors are ranked once again, thanks to a 35-26 win over rival Colony last Friday.
Wasilla (2-1) moved to fifth in the latest Alaska Sports Broadcasting Network Prep Football Poll, released Monday afternoon. Palmer (3-0) jumped up a spot, and is now ranked second on the list. The Moose stayed undefeated with a 32-0 drubbing of East Anchorage last week. Lathrop (3-0) recieved its highest ranking in the history of the poll, and is now at No. 3.
Service (3-0) is the new No. 1 on the large-schools list. Defending state champion South (2-1) is now ranked fourth after a 19-0 loss to Moorpark (Calif.).
Soldotna (3-0) is at the top of the medium schools list followed by Juneau (3-0), Kenai (3-0), Kodiak (3-0) and North Pole (1-1). Houston also received votes in the poll.
