PALMER — The Palmer Moose and Wasilla Warriors are playoff bound. Both punched their postseason tickets with big wins Friday night.
Palmer scored a 42-6 win to improve to 3-2 in Railbelt play. Wasilla scored a 43-29 win over North Pole at Patriot Pride Field in the Interior. The Warriors jumped to 4-1 in the Railbelt and clinched a playoff berth. The victory also eliminated North Pole and officially gave Palmer its playoff spot.
Palmer senior quarterback Jackson Buresh threw three touchdowns to lead the Moose to their third straight win. Seniors Devon Teeling and Tyler Anderson each reached the end zone to help the Warriors win.
