PALMER — The Palmer Moose scored a pair of wins during high school tennis action Sept 1 at Wonderland Park in Wasilla.
In boys’ doubles, Palmer’s Noah Machado and Ethan Welch combined to post an 8-6 victory over Colony’s Chayse Eby and Kyle Leadbetter. Palmer’s Johnie Burton scored an 8-3 win over Colony’s Logan Crawford in boys’ singles.
Colony notched a win in girls’ doubles, with Kati Renfro and Leah Wyzykowski beating Palmer’s Brianna Jensen and Gracie Payne 8-1.
Lumen Christi’s Sofia Main beat Colony’s Maryssa Scarcello 8-2 in girls’ singles.
