WASILLA — The bodies of a man and a woman were found at a Wasilla area residence Feb. 18. Alaska State Troopers are now calling the cause of death a murder-suicide.
Sarah Klingener, 47, and Shawn McVey, 57, both of Wasilla, were found dead about 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 18 at a residence off Bogard Road, troopers said. Late Tuesday morning, AST provided an update to the case.
“Investigation determined that Klingener’s death was a homicide. McVey was found to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No other individuals are believed to be involved,” troopers said in an online dispatch posted Tuesday.
