MONTANA CREEK — Amy Maclean sprinted to her third straight victory in the four-dog class during Montana Creek Dog Mushers Association action last Saturday at Montana Creek.
Maclean took advantage of a well-packed trail with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees to win the four-mile race with a time of 14 minutes and 16 seconds. Maclean was four seconds ahead of runner-up Skipper Stitt. Stitt also finished second in the six-dog race. Egil Ellis used a time of 43:37 to score his first win of the season in the open class.
