WASILLA — Michael Johnston scored with 46 seconds left in regulation to give the Wasilla Warriors a one-goal lead, but Chugiak posted a pair of unanswered scores to escape with a 5-4 nonconference win over the Warriors at the Curtis C. Menard II Memorial Ice Arena on Tuesday.
After the Wasilla blueliner gave the Warriors the lead, Rusty Teller scored with seven seconds left to tie the game.
Sam Linder posted the game-winning score with 1:02 left in overtime.
Linder scored twice to lead the Mustangs,
Johnston, Chancie Hanson, Daniel Locke and Wendell Harren scored for the Warriors.
Chris Yaskus made 39 saves in the Wasilla net.

Eagles blank Moose
PALMER — West Anchorage scored three times in the third period and skated to a 6-0 win over the Palmer Moose at the Palmer Ice Arena on Tuesday.
Cameron Calloway netted the hat trick and grabbed a pair of assists to lead the Eagles to the nonconference win.
