Nancy Leona Fox, 77, of Wasilla, Alaska, passed peacefully into Heaven on Friday, September 3, 2021, with her family by her side.

Nancy was a career Nurse up until her recent retirement from the Case Management Department at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer, Alaska

Many things brought joy to Nancy’s life including sewing, gardening, decorating, baking, and her pack of Poodles. She was easily spotted in a crowd or the halls of the hospital just by looking for her signature bright and bold hair colors. Just like her hair, Nancy was brave and bold and very much one of a kind. She loved traveling with her husband, and they filled their years together with new adventures and old friends.

Nancy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Nancy Fox; cousins, Rodney Erdman (Karen) and Connie Howells (Tim); stepchildren, Mallory Fox (Brian Galloway), Jennifer Killion (Patrick), David Fox (Hannah), and Tiffany Cooper; and many grandchildren, including her favorite sidekick, Tanner Fox. She also leaves behind her Poodles Angus, Lulu, and Tux, as well as friends from coast-to-coast who love her dearly and miss her deeply.

A memorial service honoring Nancy will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmer, Alaska.

Nancy’s family would also like to thank the staff of Ancora Home Health & Hospice, Maple Springs of Wasilla, and Mat-Su Regional Medical Center for the love and care shown to Nancy and her loved ones in her final days.
