The North America Outdoor Institute would like to express its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Mat-Su Health Foundation, the Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Dean Cummings’ H2O Guides and Alaska Mining and Diving Supply for their help and support in providing the Be Snow Smart Helmet Safety Program at the Wasilla Sports Complex on Saturday.
More than 150 people took advantage of this great opportunity to attend the Be Snow Smart avalanche awareness program and purchase a quality Snell/DOT helmet for only $25. If you were unable to attend this training but would like to participant in a future event, NAOI will host field and classroom presentations throughout this winter.
We are working to update our Web site with our full schedule. Please visit www.naoiak.org for more information.
