Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Nathaniel Edward Hargis died shortly after birth Dec. 10, 2003, at Providence Alaska Medical Center.
A visitation was held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anchorage Baptist Temple. Services followed at 2 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Cleary officiating. Burial will be at Grizzly Lake in Alaska on Knighten Family property.
The family is a member of Anchorage Baptist Temple.
The family wrote, "Rodger and Starla got to share a few special moments with Nathaniel before he went to comfort with Jesus."
His parents, Rodger D. and Starla A. Hargis, and brothers, Patrick A. Hargis and Daniel R. Hargis, survive Nathaniel.
Arrangements were made with Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
