I live in Meadow Lakes and have been challenged to find more than one place to eat over the last year or so but have found a new gem that I want my neighbors to know about. It’s at Mile 49, called the Alaskan Café (old 49 Mile café) and the new owner is putting out some amazing stuff to eat. Freshly baked hamburger rolls made on site, a varied and low-priced menu of all the favorites I enjoy and even killer ice cream. I strongly encourage my neighbors to check this place out since I am finding it a truly remarkable restaurant providing well-priced meals in a manner befitting my palate. Call them 357-2228 if you want to know more.
