New face on MEA board of directors

PALMER — Kit Jones will replace David Dahms in his seat on the Matanuska Electric Association board of directors, a decision the board made Monday.

Until Monday Jones served on the MEA bylaws committee, a position, according to MEA spokeswoman Lorali Carter, she will have to resign.

Carter said the vote to appoint Jones went 3-2 with directors David Glines and Larry DeVilbiss supporting candidate Bill Tull over Jones.
