An Anchorage man reported missing in the Talkeetna area Sunday afternoon was found Tuesday. But he was also arrested on a pair of outstanding warrants.

Alexander Guest, 55, was located in an RV near Mile 86 of the Parks Highway just before noon Tuesday, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Guest had a no-bail parole warrant and a $650 cash parole warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation, troopers said in an online dispatch posted Tuesday afternoon. The warrants are based on original charges of second-degree kidnapping and sexual abuse of a minor.

Troopers received a report Sunday at about 1 p.m. that Guest went missing from his residence, later identified as the RV, near Mile 86 of the Parks Highway. Guest was last seen Saturday afternoon when he was searching for chaga mushrooms in the area, troopers said.

According to online court records, Guest’s case was reopened June 12 and the warrants were issued June 15.
