No candidate for Howard

Howard Delo (Outdoors, June 10) writes “I really would enjoy the chance, at some point before I die, to vote for a presidential candidate who truly saw the world much the same way I do.”

Judging from the rest of Howard’s reactionary, black U.N. helicopter rant, I’d say he missed his chance when George Wallace and Curtis “Bomb Them Into The Stone Age” LeMay ran in 1968.

Howard’s column closes with, “Remember, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.”

This may be true in rare cases, but I’m afraid it’s not true in Howard’s.
