No need for climate change agency

To the editor:

The Obama Administration is planning on creating a new climate change agency within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

This new agency will supposedly deal with the over-blown “problem” of climate change. The Climategate e-mails exposed in November 2009 in Britain prove conclusively that the global warming/climate change hysteria is the result of dishonest scientists suppressing facts about climate change over the past two decades or more. One of those dishonest scientists was Michael Mann at Pennsylvania State University (http://bit.ly/9OqzSV).

These e-mails show that scientists have deliberately hidden the fact that global temperatures have actually declined since 1998. They have not risen. Mann actually admitted in an e-mail that he was manipulating data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures.

John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, has posted a one-hour documentary online called “Global Warming: The Other Side” that exposes the fraudulent claims of global warming hysterics like Al Gore (http://bit.ly/50HsGn).

Coleman also shows that NOAA and other federal agencies have been involved in suppressing facts about climate change.

Our government doesn’t need another corrupt climate change agency operating inside the corrupt NOAA. We need honest scientists, not Chicken Littles with a political agenda, giving us distorted information about carbon dioxide and climate change.
