No peace treaty after Korean War

To the editor:

The editorial in the June 23 issue is right on. One thing has been forgotten over the years: The Korean war ended with a cease fire and a truce, but there has never been any type of “peace treaty” officially ending it. We are still at war with N. Korea. Maybe our present leaders don’t believe it, but baby Kim does.

An act of war if we board their ships? How about their murders of U. S. military personnel over the years, or the abduction and imprisonment of S. Korean nationals? However, it seems it will take a N. Korean missile strike on Washington, D.C., to wake up our leaders. (Or maybe an Iranian missile strike, using technology sold them by the NKs?)
