No throw-away votes

Don’t throw your vote away on McBama! This is the perfect election to write in Ron Paul or vote for a third party candidate. Why? As my co-worker put it “you can vote for Darth Maul or Darth Vader, either way you get the evil empire”

Case in point: Most Americans were against the billionaire bailout bill yet both Obama and McCain voted for it (as did our two senators). Are they elected representatives or our rulers? It’s clear what they think of themselves. We are just stupid peasants who need to be ruled by elites that know better than we do how to spend tax dollars. What do we do about it? We continue to vote for the lesser of two evils, and we get … evil. Why waste your vote on this popularity contest? The media spends 30 minutes of air time talking about how much Palin’s clothes cost.

That should tell you that there are no real differences between the two. If you vote for the two party dictatorship you get what you deserve. Unfortunately I will also get what you deserve. I will vote my conscience. That way whatever happens I’ll know I did my part to prevent it.
