MAT-SU Early Childhood Partnership seeks nominations for this year’s 2014 Golden Apple Awards. Nominations are due by 4:30 p.m., March 21 and forms are available online at matsufamilies.org. Forms must be printed, filled out and returned by fax at 745-0635, or scanned and emailed to admin@unitedwaymatsu.org.
Golden Apple Awards recognize local early childhood teachers, child-care facilities, champions of young children, along with businesses and employers who are family friendly.
Awards will be presented at the Mat-Su Family Festival April 6 at the AT&T Sports Center on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. The festival is for families with children age 5 and younger.
