Norma Ruth Hammond

Norma Ruth Hammond was born on August 27, 1933, to Ray and Hazel Van Nest in California. Norma went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6. Norma was married to the love of her life John Hammond for 59 years before he passed away in 2015. Together they led a life of service and were dedicated to the Lord serving as Missionaries with InterAct Ministries for more than four decades. Norma and John raised two daughters and a son together. She has a large extended family in Alaska, with seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She also has extended family in the lower 48. A celebration of life will be held at InterAct Ministries in Palmer, Alaska on June 30th at 3:00. Please bring a potluck dish to share.
