PALMER — Cantora Arctica and Alaska Children’s Choir will perform with a visiting choir from Port Angeles, Wash. — NorthWest Women’s Chorale, conducted by Joy Lingerfelt with collaborative pianist Kristin Quigley-Brye — April 5 in Palmer.
The group arrives April 2 and will spend a few days in Anchorage before its 25 singers move on to Palmer.
The three musical groups will join together to present the Northern Lights Treble Choir Festival at 7 p.m., April 5 at St. John Lutheran Church in Palmer. The group also will perform at 1 p.m., April 6 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Anchorage.
The Fireside String Quartet and trumpeter Logan Bean from Palmer will accompany the group, according to Janet Stotts, music director for Cantora Arctica and Alaska Children’s Choir.
