I totally agree with Darin Markwardt’s recent Spectrum column pertaining to Matanuska Electric Association’s upcoming board election. We need board members who are transparent, open and ethical.
I have known Janet Kincaid for more than 50 years and she is a wonderful, hard-working person. But, I will not be voting for her for the MEA board elections, because Janet has been on television advertisements for the IBEW union. If Janet is elected to the MEA board, who will she represent during upcoming union contract negotiations, the IBEW union or you and me, the MEA member ratepayers?
Please join me in not voting for Janet Kincaid.
