Notes from the Mat-Su Youth Action Board

Welcome to a new year, Mat-Su. This is the month to reflect on the past years highs and lows and take in the parts that help you to move forward in life. It's also a month to stay inside surrounded by love and warmth as the temperature fluctuates.

The Mat-Su Youth Action Board is seeking new members to join our fight against homelessness. Join us every Monday at 12pm and Tuesday at 5pm to meet the current participants as we bring in the New Year and hopefully new ideas to help.

On Tuesday Jan.31st from 9am-2pm, join Connect Mat-Su as they hand out essential services and items. This is a one-time event hosted at the Menard Sports Complex, 1001 S. Mack Drive Wasilla AK. Supplies are limited.

The end of the road is the start of a new path and sometimes walking to it can be sad. Try to find the ups of ending the current journey so that you may begin your nest one on a positive note.
