Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Margaret Corene Suksdorf, 59, died Sept. 12, 2000, at home.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, on Bogard Road in Wasilla. Her ashes will be taken to Oregon by the family.
Mrs. Suksdorf was born June 6, 1941, in Boise, Idaho. She came to Alaska in 1993, and resided in Wasilla. She was a mother and a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her special interests were birds and children in church.
Her family said: She was loved dearly and will be missed.
Survivors are her daughter, Angela L. Knight; sister, Roxanne Shuster; brothers, Dwayne Jameson and Bruce Jameson; niece, Tawna Brady and her family; and numerous nephews and other family members.
Arrangements were made by Valley Funeral Home & Crematory.
