PALMER — Kerry Weiland, a Palmer High School graduate and member of the 2010 Team USA Olympic silver-medal winning women’s hockey squad, will be signing autographs at the Palmer Ice Arena Wednesday from 5-7 p.m.
Weiland will be signing her commemorative card that was included in the Mat-Su Miners’ 2010 baseball card set.
The Miners featured “Kerry Weiland Day” during the 2010 summer season, but Weiland was unable to appear because she was rehabilitating from offseason surgery. The Mat-Su Miners Weiland commemorative card was sponsored by Rep. Bill Stoltze, and Miners officials said Stoltze will have extras on hand for fans who do not have the Weiland card.
