On my way to see Palin… in person

I'm heading to Pennsylvania to get an inside look at Gov. Sarah Palin on the campaign trail in the last days before the election.

Alaskans have watched from afar as their governor, like her or not, has become one of the major focal points of an election shaping up to be one for the record books.

The reporters and other staff at the Frontiersman have also had to watch from afar, as the woman we've covered for years stumps her way around the country.

Now it's our turn to see what really goes on during Palin's day-to-day.

I'm going to make every effort to update this blog regularly. I'll also be Twittering at www.twitter.com/frontiersman.

Twitter is a rapid fire blogging site that allows for quick, short updates from the poster.

I'll also be churning out stories after I talk to Palin and the family members on the trail with her.

I'm writing this at 11:40 p.m., Wednesday as I wait for my red eye flight to the Lower 48.

Stay tuned for more once I'm on the ground with the campaign.
