One emergency leads to another

To the editor:

This is regarding the letter on 911 responders and EMTs (”Ode to ‘The Forgotten Crew,’” in Tuesday’s Frontiersman). They are great, but (they) forgot to inform me there was a charge. I thought police, fire and ambulance was paid for out of our taxes.

Now I am being sued for $800. I’m a senior on a fixed income. You can bet next time I’ll call a taxi — or die.
