PALMER — Alaska State Troopers say a small boulder in the road was a factor in a single vehicle accident on Thursday morning that turned deadly for one Palmer woman.

Hailey Belnap, 25, was driving her yellow 2015 Honda Passenger southbound near Mile 39 of the Glenn Highway when her vehicle left the roadway and landed on the Alaska Sand & Gravel conveyor belt. Belnap was taken to Mat-su Regional Medical Center and later pronounced dead. AST was assisted by the Department of Transportation and Public Faclities Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
