I’m beginning to understand the ramifications of having a Republican governor with no heart. I am a retired teacher and librarian, my husband is a retired corrections officer and we have two children, (son 23, daughter, 21) who were covered by our state health insurance.
Alaska’s Gov. Sean Parnell opted out of Obamacare, which means now my children have no health insurance. My son needs his wisdom teeth pulled and we can’t afford it. God help us if something really serious were to occur.
How many other Alaskan families are affected by this type of shortsighted action? Please contact your state representatives in the Alaska Legislature to remedy this.
