Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Oswald "Ozzie" Lenhart, 84, died Jan. 23, 2005, of natural causes, at the Palmer Pioneers' Home.
A small memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Fridayat Kehl's Palmer Mortuary. A memorial service will be held in May when his family can be present. Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Lenhart and Vici McCusker.
Mr. Lenhart was born Feb. 29, 1920, in Allentown, Pa., where he attended Allentown public schools.
Mr. Lenhart was a retired World War II veteran from the U.S. Army. He began his Alaska residency in 1952 and lived in the Palmer, Knik and Butte areas.
His family wrote, "Ozzie traveled around the Palmer/Wasilla area making and entertaining his friends and neighbors."
A full obituary will be published at a later date.
Memorial donations should go to a local S.P.C.A.
