Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers’ annual fund-raising Spring Gear Swap is April 16, at the Mat-Su Borough gym, 350 E. Dahlia Ave., Palmer.
People may bring in their unwanted bicycles, backpacks, boots, canoes, kayaks, fishing gear, snowshoes, skis and other gear that is used in an active outdoor pursuit. Items can be priced and left to be sold between 9:30 and 10 a.m., or people may stay for the day and sell the gear themselves. Doors open and gear goes on sale at 10 a.m. Unsold gear can be picked up at 3:30 p.m. and doors close at 4 p.m.
