Alaska Bureau of Investigation continues its investigation into an early Thursday morning assault-theft near Archangel Trail in Hatcher Pass.
Alaska State Troopers responded to an assault report on the Palmer side of the pass around 4:30 a.m. They reported finding two males, in their early 20’s with various injuries. The two informed police that their green, four-door, 2005 Subaru Legacy, bearing plate EET562, was stolen. Neither victim sustained life-threatening injuries, police say. Both were transported to area hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
Police believe the vehicle could be in the Valley or Anchorage areas. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or AST at 352-5401.
