A pair of men were arrested in Sutton Saturday night and are now facing numerous charges, including kidnapping.
Alaska State Troopers received a report of a kidnapping off North Chickaloon Way in Sutton just before 9 p.m. Saturday night.
“The caller reported that a 28-year-old female resident of Anchorage had been forced into a vehicle at gunpoint by two male suspects before driving away with her. A witness followed the vehicle and reported observations to 911 dispatchers. Palmer Police Department officers responded to assist and located the vehicle outside the Sutton General Store, successfully detaining the two suspects and locating the victim, who suffered minor injuries,” troopers said.
Hunter Tamez, 27, of Palmer, and Nathanael Albright, 37, of Anchorage, have been charged with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery and third-degree assault. Albright was also charged with misconduct involving weapons in the third degree.
