WASILLA — Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate, will return to Wasilla to cast her vote in the Nov. 4 election, a McCain-Palin spokesperson said Tuesday evening.
“Governor Palin is very excited to return home to vote,” McCain-Palin Spokesperson Meghan Stapleton said in an e-mail. “Governor Palin launched her public service career from Wasilla and she will return there to cast her vote.”
According to the campaign, Palin is scheduled to land in Anchorage Monday evening, then vote in Wasilla Tuesday morning before departing for Phoenix to join Republican presidential candidate John McCain for election night.
It's unknown if Palin will make any public appearances while in Wasilla, and the Frontiersman will report any new information as it becomes available.
