A single-story house on Boulder Drive brought a response from Palmer, Mat-Su Central and Fishhook Volunteer fire departments Sunday afternoon.
At least eight engines responded to the blaze near Mile 6 of Wasilla-Fishhook Road around 1:30 p.m. Crews quickly gained entrance to the residence and began knocking down flames. No one was injured in the fire, but a resident of the home was being checked out at the scene. No cause for the fire has been determined yet. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
