Palmer boy throws rock, injures woman in passing car

PALMER — A 47-year-old woman was injured Sunday when a teenage boy threw a rock that broke the back window of the car in which she was a passenger.

The woman was riding south on Palmer Fishhook Road in a red Chevy Aveo around 6:30 p.m., July 12 when a rock was thrown through her window from a wooded area overlooking the roadway, according to Alaska State Trooper media dispatches.

A 15-year-old Palmer boy confessed when they questioned him, troopers said.

Charges were being forwarded to Juvenile Justice, according to media reports.
