KENAI — Homer divers Jasmine Lewis and Brian Rowe won the Kenai Diving Meet on Friday at Kenai Central High School, while the Palmer boys placed three in the top-10 placers. Rowe edged out Kenai’s Bill Ashwell, who had 198.90 points. Lewis had 161.65 points to take the title, while Homer’s Katherine Dolma was second at 141.05.
For the Moose, Blaine Branham was the team’s top scorer, finishing fourth with 184.95 points. Teammates Gabe Waldhaus (sixth with 152.60) and Naephe Huntington (eighth with 147.35) rounded out the top Palmer boys’ finishers.
On the girls side of the meet, Jordyn Garrettson of Palmer was the top Valley finisher, placing third with a score of 133.25.
There was a swimming meet in Seward on Saturday, but those results were not available at press time.
